Good morning friends!
As we continue to traverse this ever-changing year, have you noticed a shift in your relationships? Not just with a significant other but with friends, neighbors, other relatives?
This year has created opportunities to take a good hard look at our relationships. It’s been a great year for getting real, healing, and letting go where needed. Have issues come to the forefront that needed to be addressed with your mate or family members in your household that are long overdue? Do you have a newfound appreciation for friends and even neighbors? Or have you been able to let go of relationships that no longer work?
This is one of the gifts of this crazy year. It’s not to say that aspect of this year hasn’t been painful or difficult at times. Relationships have their challenges and this year we really couldn’t deny them anymore. Nor could we overlook how much the people in our lives mean to us.
Last but not least, it has given us all a chance to address the relationship we have with ourselves. We have seen our strengths and weaknesses. We have tapped into reservoirs of resourcefulness we never knew we had. We have sought support and offered support thereby expanding our capacity to love and deepening our compassion.
Take stock of where you are in this aspect of this year. Embrace the opportunity for healing. Bask in appreciation for the love and support you have in your life and the love and support you give to others. Find ways to share more of yourself. Learn to love all aspects of you for your brilliance is greater than you know. Cherish this gift of 2020 and the 20/20 vision this year brings.
